A cause de la guerre ukrainienne, les familles doivent tout abandonner pour partir en quête d’un lieu sûr. Au total ce sont une dizaine de millions de personnes, soit un quart environ de la population qui a été forcé de quitter leur foyer. Selon le Fonds des Nations Unies pour l’enfance (UNICEF), un mois de guerre a entraîné le déplacement de 4,3 millions d’enfants, soit plus de la moitié de la population enfantine du pays.
Ce chiffre comprend plus de 1,8 million d’enfants réfugiés qui ont franchi les frontières internationales pour s’exiler dans les pays voisins et 2,5 millions qui sont maintenant déplacés à l’intérieur de l’Ukraine.
