The defense organization of Human Rights, Amnesty International, accuses the Egyptian government of abducting and torturing hundreds of students, activists, and even teenagers during the last three years.

According to Amnesty International, victims who are supporters of Mohamed Morsi, the former president of the country, have been abducted by the security forces. The report cites the case of 17 people kidnapped and tortured.

The NGO believes that torture cases are more numerous since the coming to power of Abdel Fattah al Sissi.
