ADH strongly condemns the violence in Darfur which has caused the death of 213 people and 13 others injured

According to UN reports, in recent months dozens of people have been killed and hundreds of homes have been burned down in several episodes of violence in Darfur.

Sudanese authorities have announced that more than 213 people have been killed and 13 injured in four days of violence in Darfur. the UN has condemned the clashes by calling for a rapid and independent investigation. In Geneva, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, also expressed her dismay at the violence in Darfur on Wednesday.

The violence began on Friday April 22 in the town of Krink, mainly inhabited by the Massalit tribe, an African ethnic minority. They continued Wednesday, April 27, sowing panic. NGO spokesman Adam Regal warned of a humanitarian disaster with unimaginable consequences.
