In Egypt, 67 people, mostly supporters of the Muslim Brotherhood, have been arrested following the second anniversary of the deadly Rabaa massacre.<\/p>\n
Egyptian security forces on Saturday, arrested some 40 people in the capital, Cairo, and a number of other provinces for \u201cinciting protests and violence\u201d against the country.<\/p>\n
Furthermore, the Egyptian Interior Ministry said earlier in the day that 27 people had also been detained in the Gharbiya Governorate, located northwest of the capital.<\/p>\n
The ministry also released footage purportedly showing the detainees confessing that they had been behind a number of attacks against the army and police units in Gharbiya.<\/p>\n
