\u201cIt was a suicide bombing against a foreign forces convoy in a crowded part of the city and there are casualties,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
Taliban militants claim a foreign troops were among those killed.<\/p>\n
Local media reports suggest seven civilians were injured in the blast, which caused an armoured vehicle to flip on its side.<\/p>\n
Prior to the attack, the capital had experienced more than a month of relative calm, following a series of bombings in August.<\/p>\n
