The United Nations has made the case of Libya on the occasion of the World Day of humanitarian aid, claiming that millions of Libyans and migrants were victims of a worsening humanitarian crisis of the day.<\/p>\n
“More than 2.4 million people in Libya in need of humanitarian assistance”, according to Martin Kobler, the UN envoy for Libya, in a statement on Friday.<\/p>\n
“They lack medicines, vaccines, and are faced with precarious hospital services. Nearly 300,000 children are out of school and almost 350,000 Libyans have been displaced across the country”, he added (…)<\/p>\n
