Twelve brothers and sisters whose children were found tied up, some with chains, hungry and dirty in a small California townhouse and their parents were incarcerated for torture, according to US police.<\/p>\n
The alert was given by the 13th person, a 17-year-old victim, who escaped from the Perris apartment, two hours southeast of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n
The police initially thought that the 12 people found, “malnourished and very dirty”, were all minors but then realized that seven of them were adults, aged 18 to 29 years. Six of the thirteen victims (including the teenager who gave the alert) were children, the youngest of whom was only two years old …<\/p>\n
