A shooting broke out in a shopping center near the Olympic stadium in Munich (southern Germany), police said.

“We have now a major police operation in a mall”, also said on his Twitter account the Munich police, without specifying the cause.

Gunshots were reported in the late afternoon in the mall in Bavaria. According to latest official figures, there are at least three dead. A large area around the mall was cordoned off by police.
