Mexico: 11 people, including members of a family, killed by bullets
A family of six, three policemen and two women (a couple and four children) were shot dead Saturday in the eastern state of Veracruz, one of the most violent regions in Mexico, according to local authorities.
Located on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico, the oil state of Veracruz is one of the most dangerous in the country, mainly due to incessant clashes between two drug cartels, the Zetas and Jalisco Nueva Generacion.
