New York: One dead and six wounded in a shootout against a hospital

A man in a white coat killed a doctor and wounded six people at the Lebanon Hospital of the Bronx in New York (USA) on Friday, June 30. He then died on the 17th floor of the hospital, according to New York authorities.
The shooter was himself a doctor and a former employee of the institution, said Mayor Bill de Blasio and Chief of Police James O’Neill. According to the New York Times, Henry Bello, 45, was accused of sexual harassment and resigned in 2015.
Beyond the safety of the hospital, this drama could fuel the controversy over arms control in the United States (…)
