Mexico: the tireless struggle of families for the truth of the history of 43 missing students

More than a year and a half after the death of 43 students in Mexico, families continue to fight for the truth.

Brandishing torches and portraits of their relatives, they marched on the main artery of the capital Mexico City. Target of their wrath, the Mexican government accused by independent experts, to have impeded the investigation and have shown they believe little interest in getting to the bottom this matter (…)

The students had disappeared in September 2014 while traveling in Iguala in Guerrero for a demonstration. According to the official version, they were intercepted by municipal police allegedly delivered to members of a drug cartel. The latter would have killed and cremated their bodies in a landfill. But experts say there was no evidence of incineration of such magnitude in this place.
